Immigration is out of control in Australia, and the government’s budget just confirmed it. The government admitted this week that net overseas migration this financial year will exceed planning estimates by 35,000 people, or 13.5%.
Those estimates, by the way, were confirmed just four months ago.
When immigration gets out of control in America, it’s due to mismanagement at the southern border. When problems arise in Britain, it’s down to a wave of boat arrivals from continental Europe.
How does an island continent with essentially zero illegal immigration manage to get things so wrong?
